Healthcare Industry

Early in my career I had the wonderful experience of working for Centocor, maker of ReoPro, Retivase and Remicade at the time that it was Johnson and Johnson’s crown jewel in biotechnology. My position was in Biologic Strategy, which was at the intersection of R&D, Business Development, M&A, and Finance. In a nutshell, the job was to maximize the value of the R&D project portfolio. As a member of the immune mediated inflammatory disease committee I had a role in the development of two successful drugs namely Symponi and Stelara that together sold in excess of $5B a year at peak. This background allows me to think about your drug development project simultaneously from the R&D, commercial and strategic perspective.

Examples of industry projects:

Unmet medical need and target product profile design

Market model building and commercial value forecasting

Drug launch forecasting and guidance generation

Competitive intelligence and analysis

Business development deal sourcing and review

Strategic evaluations and decision making

R&D portfolio optimization

Investor relations

Crafting a compelling investment narrative for the current stage of the company
